An Honest Review of Bayprime Hotel in Parañaque
Known for its local markets, large malls, churches, and casinos, Parañaque is one of Manila’s major cities. Today, I’ll take you to one of the hotels you can find in the area and give an honest review of our stay. This is not a sponsored post.
Bayprime Hotel in Parañaque City
If you’re looking for accommodation where you can enjoy affordable luxury, you can consider booking a room at Bayprime. The place is ideal for business trips, workcations, or staycations.
Honestly, I didn't have high expectations at first. I have read unpleasant reviews on travel websites written in perfect detail, and it is always good to consider these. But of course, it also doesn't hurt to give it a shot. Well, other deciding factors were also the room size and the rate. Compared to neighboring hotels, they offered the best value.
Address and Accessibility
Address: Roxas Boulevard, Parañaque City (in front of The Centrium building).
Bayprime is located inside Aseana Business Park; right beside Singapore School Manila. Nearby establishments include Parqal and Ayala Malls Manila Bay. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants around the block.
The hotel is also close to the airport, so if you’re looking for a place to stay before or after your flight, this might be the one for you (there is a booking link provided at the end of the blog post).
First Impressions and Experience
We booked our stay on a weekday and had a smooth check-in process. As you can see, they have an elegant and spacious lobby adorned with all sorts of minimalist decor. This is where you can enjoy the welcome drinks.
The guards were friendly and had a good sense of humor. As for the front-line staff, they greeted us a lot during our stay, and that was something we appreciated. It got me a bit confused because if you look online, many comments mention the rudeness of their staff, but they were actually nice (well, this is based on our experience).
Rooms and Layout
We stayed at the Deluxe Room (their standard one), and this is how it looks.
I like how there is more than enough storage space. The light-up wardrobe has plenty of room for your clothes, and the same goes for the compartments for your other things. There is also a cabinet by the coffee station where you can store your luggage (so the place looks tidy).
From what I learned, the hotel opened in 2023, which explains the newness of the rooms.
Amenities and Facilities
Room amenities include fast wi-fi, toiletries, a hair dryer, a large Netflix-ready TV (use your account), a work desk, a well-lit wardrobe, a safety vault, and a bar fridge. As for the hotel facilities, they have a restaurant, a swimming pool, and a fitness center.
The pool is crystal clear, and they have a clean, air-conditioned fitness center. You'll enjoy the barely-used equipment whether you're a gym rat or a casual goer.
The swimming pool is a great place to relax or do your laps. It’s close to the lounge area and is right in front of the fitness center (there is also a bar, which I believe will open soon). If you feel like chilling, you can opt for the jacuzzi, which can accommodate six to eight people.
There is a designated smoking area close to the bar. The swimming pool is open until 8:00 PM.
Bay City Cafe | Buffet Breakfast
Like most hotels, Bayprime has an in-house restaurant and cafe called Bay City Cafe. You can find this on the ground floor. All booked guests go here for breakfast. Compared to other hotels, they offer a wider assortment of appetizers, mains, and desserts.
They serve flavorful food. You'll like the healthy and yummy breakfast.
The regular menu items are expectedly expensive, but the afternoon combos were reasonable (try their coffee with cake or brownies).
I do not have photos of the food display as I did not want to bother the people getting their food, but they were very presentable.
Nearby Establishments
Within walking and a short driving distance from Bayprime are Okada Manila, Solaire Resort & Casino, Parqal, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the SM Mall of Asia.
